“Berk School of Dragon Training” Cosplay Skit

Winner of DragonCon Goes Virtual 2020 “Best Informercial” Award. One of my greatest joys is cosplaying with my wife and writing fun skits for us to perform onstage during conventions. Sadly most of these were never filmed. This one was created for an online “masquerade” during COVID, and filmed with what (little) equipment we had outside in our yard. That’s my wife in the Toothless costume!

“Ravager Time” – ARK: Survival Evolved Gameplay Music Video

WARNING: Contains a bit of video-game violence and imagery of that kind, mostly dinosaurs and other critters attacking each other. Winner of a weekly “Community Crunch” award in 2018, this is a video game gameplay/”machinima” music video. Feel free to turn off the volume – we know we can’t sing very well, that was part of the hilarity! I feel like this is one of the most fun editing jobs I’ve done.

BCTC Jeopardy 2017 Trailer

I’m a bit of a game show nut, and I used that nuttiness to host a number of nerdy Jeopardy panels at conventions in the mid 2010s. This is the best trailer I did to try to promote one of these appearances. I cannot explain anything that happens here – there is no explanation possible. Sometimes you just get one of those wild ideas that makes total sense at the time, and you just go with it… and this is the result.
